WE COME TOGETHER IN WORSHIP...
Young and old we all share in our love for Jesus.
The musical expression of worship here at Christ Church Parbold has something for everyone ranging from the uplifting and vibrant to the quiet and reflective. Our services and events welcome everyone of all ages and we seek to reflect that in our praise and worship. Our 10.00am service music is a mix of modern and traditional hymns led by our own band and church organ.
There are various ways that people can be involved in supporting the praise teams of Parbold Church.

The 10.00am Praise Band draws on a pool of musicians and singers who seek to encourage everyone to enter fully into the worship of God, Father Son and Holy Spirit. As band members we are careful to remember that we are engaged in a ministry to God as well as the congregation. Although the praise band is inevitably highly visible in the Chancel area of Parbold Church we try to never forget that we should not be drawing attention to ourselves. Our agenda is not “look at us” - it is “look to Christ and worship Him” so that we shall all leave our services more ready and willing to serve Christ with our lives.

The Carol Service Choir starts practising around November. It is not essential to be able to read music.
-
The projection and computer team arrange the words of hymns, songs, liturgy and other visuals as required. Training is given.
-
The sound desk team oversees the sound balance and aims to make sure that the praise band, singers, speakers and video clips can be heard clearly. This is quite a technical role but training is given.
