All the people came together as one

Nehemiah 8:1

Christ Church Parbold plays an active part in the local community.  Each year the church is involved in both the village fayre and village festival.  Family fun and music events are held in and around the village, school and church.  Our pastoral team is dedicated to serving people in need in the community and we also support local charities and foodbanks by raising money, volunteers and donations.  Our Sunday school regularly visit local care homes to sing and spend time with the elderly.

The church has strong links with the local school Parbold Douglas C of E Academy and regularly holds services and events at the school.

Messy Church
Children of all ages
Parbold Douglas School

  • Messy Church is usually held once a term on a Friday from 5pm at Parbold Douglas Academy

  • It is a great way for families with children to worship and learn together through creativity, stories and play. It is designed to help people to encounter Jesus and experience church in a fun and vibrant way via hands-on activities

  • As well as the crafts, we come together for a short worship session and a relaxed meal.

  • All we ask is that children are accompanied by an adult who accepts responsibility for the children in their care during the session.
