In baptism, we thank God for His gift of life and publicly acknowledge his love. Baptism is one of the first steps Christians take on their journey with Jesus.

At Christ Church we welcome people of all ages to be baptised.

​

Baptism can take place as part of our usual Sunday morning service. 

​

Many people have children and infants baptised at our church. This is sometimes known as Christening.

Children are precious to all of us and to God. In having their children baptised, parents are thanking God for his gift of life, making a decision to start their child on the journey of faith and asking for the support of the church.
